Consumer Innovation Collaborative PowerPoint

The CIC team conducted a comprehensive literature review to synthesize change management communications “best practices”. The CIC team also conducted qualitative research with CRAs, SRMs, and CLs through semi-structured interviews to gain a pulse on employee readiness and openness to change. Our final plan included training needs associated with this new plan, what and how the Governance would change after the new plan is implemented, and key metrics of success post implementation.

Data came from two sample populations: eight International Studies students (IS) and six residents of the Global Village dormitory. Analysis reveals two themes associated with students’ understanding of intercultural competency arising from study abroad: immersion and social impact.

LGBT Tourism and

LGBT Study Abroad Resources

This first paper connects sexual orientation and tourism to illustrate the diversity of tourism experiences while also contributing to the larger debate around inequalities faced by individuals with different sexual orientations. The newsletter article (page 9) explores LGBT study abroad resources in order to provide educator and students with a reference guide as to what is currently available and where more work needs to be done.

Through this work, I had to analyze and identify the needs of the intended audience and recommend content within each city that would provide the best experiences.
